14 DAY TRIAL // Feral Interactive announced Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for Linux a few days back and now we have a dedicated trailer to celebrate it.
The rise of gaming on Linux is keeping companies like Feral Interactive very busy. This is a studio that specializes in porting games from other platforms to Mac OS and Linux, and it seems that they have their work cut out for them, at least for the next few months.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is just one of the many games that are getting Linux support. "Players uncover the mystery behind the Spirit that compels him, discover the origins of the Rings of Power and confront their ultimate Nemesis. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be a SteamPlay title that will run on Ubuntu 14.04 and Valve’s SteamOS, and will follow the Linux releases of Empire: Total War and XCOM: Enemy Unknown last year," wrote the devs on official blog.
The new Linux trailer for the game doesn't bring anything new, at least for the people who already play it, but this is a nice change. There is no launch date, but spring is mentioned in the announcement. It's also quite probable that all the DLCs will be available as well.
