Mesa, an open source implementation of the OpenGL specification and a system for rendering interactive 3D graphics, is now at version 10.0.3.

Mesa 10.0.3 is the next iteration in the series and implements the OpenGL 3.1 API. This means that some drivers might not support the specifications for the latest Mesa.

According to the changelog, a leak of dri option default values has been prevented, a delayed texel buffer allocation regression for OpenMP has been fixed, and ARB_texture_rectangle has been disabled in shader version 100.

Also, barycentric coordinates are now used with per sample shading, the handling of MESA_pack_invert in blit (PBO) readpixels has been fixed, and "expr" has been renamed to "lhs_expr" in vector_extract munging code.

More details about this release can be found in the official announcement. Download Mesa 10.0.3 right now from Softpedia.
