Greg Kroah-Hartman has announced the immediate availability for download of Linux kernel 3.0.73 LTS.

The Linux developer and maintainer Greg Kroah-Hartman has made some small modifications, and has declared that this current version is the start of the stable review cycle for the 3.0.73 release.

Highlights of Linux kernel 3.0.73 LTS:

• An error is now provided when the thermal class fails to register; • The cmd timer and free curr_cmd are now canceled in the shutdown process; • The assumption that assoc has one segment has been corrected; • The Slimtype DVD A DS8A8SH drive max sector has been set to 65535; • An ASoC compile error has been corrected.
