14 DAY TRIAL // LightDM 1.8.7, a cross-desktop display manager that aims to be the standard DM for the X.Org X server, is now available for download.

Highlights of LightDM 1.8.7:
• PAM is now correctly invoked to change the authentication token; • An issue where VTs are double used when switching sessions has been fixed; • User accounts are no longer passed from AccountsService to greeters; • A crash that occurred when switching to greeter and it wasn't installed has been fixed; • A missing guest-wrapper functionality has been implemented for Ubuntu; • The AppArmor scripts have been added in order to work in Ubuntu 13.10.
