LibreOffice, a free power-packed open source personal productivity suite that provides users with six feature-rich applications for all your document production and data processing needs (Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Math and Base) is now at version 3.6.0 Beta 1.

LibreOffice 3.6.0 Beta 1 comes with a lot of bugfixes and improvements, among which we can mention:

· A different encryption for ODF is enabled by default.; · More fine-grained control over ODF compatibility for legacy consumers has been implemented; · ImageMagick can now compress grayscale TIFF images with JPEG; · File association for fod* files are no longer missing; · A crash in smartart import has been fixed.
