Pro Pinball: Timeshock is probably the best pinball game ever released and its remake will be launched on the Linux platform.

Pro Pinball: Timeshock has been used in hundreds of championships all over the world and it has remained a gaming phenomenon for a long time.

The game has been praised for its accurate and crystal clear graphics, in a time when other games were still trying to get into 3D.

The developers from Barnstorm Games are trying to rebuild this awesome title and have gone to Kickstarter to raise the necessary funds.

“The first step will be to totally rebuild Timeshock! taking both the visuals and gameplay to levels of realism never before seen. To keep the goal for this Kickstarter low the initial platforms will be limited to PC, Mac, iOS and Android.”

“Sorry if your favourite platform isn't covered, but if we exceed our target we will add additional platforms at that point as stretch goals,” the developers say on the Kickstarter website.

This is not bad news for the Linux users because the developers are also trying to get the games past the Steam Greenlight program and all the platforms are mentioned there, including Linux.
