Kinetic Void, a sandbox space simulator developed for multiple platforms, including Linux, will arrive soon on Steam for Linux.

Kinetic Void is a 3D space action game that focuses on customization and space simulation. According to the developers, the ship builder can be used by the player to construct unique ships, piece by piece. All the module that make up a ship can be destroyed individually and if a ship's engines are destroyed, it will be left drifting.

The game is part of the Early Access Game initiative put forward by Valve. Titles that are a part of this program can be purchased and played long before the official release, while they are still in the development stages.

The other part of this information, about the Linux port, is taken from the CDR database and by no means is it completely certain. The CDR Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries in the Steam database are first visible in the CDR Database before their official launch.
