Dovecot, an open source IMAP and POP3 email server for Linux/UNIX-like systems, written primarily with security in mind, is now at version 2.2.5.

The Dovecot 2.2.5 server has passed all the IMAP server standard compliancy tests, its indexes are self-optimizing, it is admin-friendly, it features a very efficient authentication system, and it supports migrations from other IMAP and POP3 servers.

This latest iteration of Dovecot integrates support for ECDH/ECDHE cipher suites, a few missing man pages, and a quota_status_toolarge setting.

A few fixes have also been implemented and now users whose lease will expire are no longer redirected to different servers, the server no longer crashes when the client disconnects during LIST, and a few others.
