Hammerwatch, a hack-and-slash action adventure developed by Crackshell, has arrived on Steam for Linux.

Running Hammerwatch in Steam for Linux is a breeze, if you have the sudo password. When a user tries to install the game inside Steam, a terminal prompt will pop up for the sudo password.

The game needs Mono 2.0 to run and if you fancy installing a few dozen dependencies, you can play this game after installing all the necessary packages.

Hammerwatch has passed through the Steam Greenlight program and it has been chosen by the community to get to the next stage.

The game features a 10% discount until August 19. More details about this game can be found on the official Steam website.

Linux System Requirements: any dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, OpenGL 2.0 compatible graphics card, and 300 MB available space on the hard drive.
