Gnumeric, a spreadsheet application that is part of the Gnome desktop environment and that can read files saved with other spreadsheet tools, has reached version 1.12.16.

This branch of Gnumeric, 1.12.x, has already received a large number of releases until now, but it seems that developers are still finding numerous things to fix and improve.

According to the developers, the database-range import from ODF has been fixed and it should now work correctly, the chart roundtrip through ODF has been improved, the export of non-ODF interpolation types to ODF has been repaired, the export of titles and subtitles to ODF has been corrected, the axis sub-element order in ODF export is now displayed correctly, and an undo crash related to hyperlinks has been fixed.

Also, the devs are starting to move off GtkUIManager, the old #ifdef has been cleaned out, the ODS series marker import/export has been fixed, a plan-perfect issue has been corrected, the installation is now working without the scrollkeeper, the import/export testing has been improved, certain large ranges of conditional formatting have been sped up, and the ODS export is becoming more deterministic.
