Gnumeric, a spreadsheet application that is part of the Gnome desktop environment and that can read files saved with other spreadsheet tools, is now at version 1.12.1.

This is the second release in Gnumeric 1.12.x series and comes with lots of impressive features and improvements.

Highlights of Gnumeric 1.12.1:

• A crash that affected certain csv files when they were opened from the command line has been fixed; • Conditional formats' dependents are now tracked; • New ssdiff command line utility has been added to compare spreadsheets; • A new file history dialog has been added; • Most deprecated parts of GTK+ are now avoided; • GObject introspection fixes have been implemented.
