The GNOME Project has announced the immediate availability for download and testing of the second development release towards the Gnote 3.12 application for the upcoming GNOME 3.12 desktop environment.

Therefore, Gnote 3.11.1 uses Gtk::HeaderBar in main window, standardizes the About, Help, and Quit entries in the App Menu, adds a logo next to the title in Help, the main window is no longer closed when pressing the Escape key, and the enable-close-note-on-escape setting works now.

Furthermore, Gnote 3.11.1 fixes various issues, including empty items in the application menu, tooltip on unpin button, AppData screenshot, middle-click on link closes main window, and others.

Last but not least, the Assamese, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, German, Greek, Lithuanian, Polish, Spanish, and Tamil languages have been updated, as well as the Czech manual. For more details, please check the official raw changelog.

Download Gnote 3.11.1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
