Glade, a RAD tool to enable quick and easy development of user interfaces for the GTK+ toolkit and the GNOME desktop environment, is now at version 3.16.0.
The user interfaces designed in Glade are saved as XML, and by using the GtkBuilder GTK+ object, these can be dynamically loaded by applications as needed.
Glade 3.16.0 is the most recent stable release available. Keep in mind that it depends on GTK+ 3.6, targets GTK+ >= 3.0 and is parallel installable with Glade 3.8.
“It has lots a new features like autosave, automatic backup, support for the GtkWidget composite template feature, Drag&Drop support from the palette, inspector and from/to the workspace, and new custom editors for most classes,” stated developer Juan Pablo Ugarte on the official mailing list.
A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement. Download Glade 3.16.0 right now from Softpedia.
