CherryTree 0.33.3, a hierarchical note-taking application that features rich text and syntax highlighting, storing data in a single XML or SQLite file, has been released and is now available for download.

CherryTree features syntax highlighting, image handling, simple tables handling, spell check, export to HTML, export to cherrytree, password protection, and much more.

According to the changelog, the "File--New Instance" not working bug that occurred after adopting DBus for multiple instances control in place of TCP has been fixed, a bug with the export to HTML function has been fixed, and the Menu key pop-up now shows the proper right click menu for Tree, Text, CodeBox, Table, Image, and Anchor.

Also, the shortcut Ctrl+comma has been added to Add Row, the Ctrl+Alt+comma shortcut has been added to Delete Row, and now if a file "config.cfg" is found in the same directory of "cherrytree.exe" all settings become portable and the application can be started as usual.

More details about the release can be found on the official website. You can download CherryTree 0.33.3 right now from Softpedia.
