The latest version of Tracker can be downloaded from Softpedia

Tracker, a semantic data storage for desktop and mobile devices, which uses W3C standards for RDF ontologies and Nepomuk with SPARQL to query and update the data, has just reached version 0.17.2.

A new development branch of Tracker has been launched, featuring a large number of changes and various improvements.

Highlights of Tracker 0.17.2:

• The way locales are included for Firefox and Thunderbird has been fixed; • Various GTK+ 3.0 deprecations have been fixed; • Generic gstreamer/libav extract rules have been separated; • Emails are no longer listed as “Documents”; • UI localization for Trackerbird has been added.
