Clutter, a GObject-based library for creating fast, visually-rich, graphical user interfaces, which works by manipulating a scene-graph of 2D surfaces, or “actors,” inside a 3D space, is now at version 1.17.2.
Clutter makes use of the OpenGL for rendering and is easy to use, providing a generic foundation for higher-level toolkits.
Highlights of Clutter 1.17.2:
• nscaled-font-dpi now overrides font-dpi; • The scribbler example has been temporarily disabled; • Scale-factor property has been added; • The window-scaling-factor setting is now used; • Explicit stage scaling factor update has been removed; • Window scaling related settings have been added; • The conformance test suite has been reworked.
