The final version of the GNOME Shell is just around the corner

GNOME Shell, a user interface that provides functions for the GNOME desktop environment, has just received a new update and it's now at version 3.10 RC.

The GNOME development is running smoothly and more features are added with each new version. Highlights of GNOME Shell 3.10 RC:

• Page indicators are no longer shown if there's only one page; • The appearance of folder views have been tweaked; • The Wayland branch has been merged; • The page indicator animation has been improved; • Various bug fixes and cleanups have been implemented.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
