Evolution, a complete solution that provides integrated mail, address book, and calendaring functionality to users of the GNOME desktop environment, is now at version 3.12 Beta 1.

A new development build of Evolution is now available for download and testing, marking a new release that will eventually be integrated into GNOME 3.12 stable.

Highlights of Evolution 3.12 Beta 1 (3.11.90):

• The Folder deletion action is now a lot quicker; • POP3's "delete-expunged" action is no longer ignored when the user checks the Empty trash on exit option; • A crash that occurred during the calendar view's tooltip timeout has been fixed; • NNTP Messages are no longer silently dropped from Outbox; • A runtime warning on startup has been corrected.

A complete list of bugfixes can be found in the official changelog. Download Evolution 3.11.90 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
