The Fedora Project has announced that its Fedora 20 Beta “Heisenbug” Linux distribution has been released and it's now available for download.

After a few delays and small problems that plagued this latest build, the developers from the Fedora Project have released a new development version of Fedora 20, and the stable iteration is just around the corner.

A number of improvements accompany this release, starting with the official support for the ARM architecture and support for the configuration of thin clients during OS installation.

Also, users can now add, edit, delete, activate, and de-activate network connections via the nmcli command line tool.

“Linux enthusiasts are encouraged to download the beta release of Fedora 20, take it for a test drive and help identify items that may need attention before Fedora 20 is generally available. With the beta release, the software is feature complete but may have some bugs,” reads the official announcement.

Check the official release notes for a complete list of changes and new features. Download Fedora 20 Beta right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
