Aria2, a utility for downloading files that support multiple protocols such as HTTP(S), FTP, BitTorrent, and Metalink, is now at version 1.18.2.

Aria2 1.18.2 is a download manager that comes with some great features such as custom HTTP Header support, magnet links support, segmented downloading, and more. The developers have been updating this software constantly and it's now one of the best of its kind.

According to the changelog, the outdated broken build_osx_release.sh has been removed, a crash that occurred when metaurl contained unsupported URI or text has been fixed, and a bad fork() return value has been fixed.

Also, some colors are now used in progress reports (where available), the number of opened files globally has been limited with the --bt-max-open-files option, and multiple concurrent downloads of the same file are no longer failing if auto-file-renaming is enabled.
