DVDStyler, a cross-platform, free DVD authoring application that allows video enthusiasts to create professional-looking DVDs, is now at version 2.5.1.

DVDStyler is a software that can be primarily used to create and burn DVD videos with interactive menus, but it will allow users to also design their own DVDs.

The previous version, 2.5, was a very large update and it included new chapters and cell properties dialogs, frame spin controls, support for video files without audio streams, support for SMPTE time codes in chapter list, and quite a few others.

The current version is more of a maintenance release and it only integrates a single new feature, but a very important one. DVDStyler is now using FFMpeg 2.0 by default.

A complete list of changes and updates can be found in the official changelog. You can also check out a comprehensive review we've done for this software.
