Valve has released a Linux update for Dota 2 with some major changes

Dota 2, Valve's own take on the famous Dota mod for Warcraft 3, has just received a major update, for all the platforms.

The company has announced that Dota 2 for Linux and Mac OS X is now available for download, skipping the usual Beta versions.

Highlights of the latest Dota 2 update:

• The chat wheel is now working properly; • The intro movies is now working for new users; • The outline color of target units are now matching what the Windows version shows; • Some rendering issues have been corrected; • The Dire courier icons have been added to the minimap for Spectators.
