14 DAY TRIAL // Canonical has already announced that it is working on an updated theme for Ubuntu 14.04, but it seems that some users want to get a flat theme implemented in the new operating system.
It's hard to ascertain how many Ubuntu users actually want a new, flat theme, but it's easy to imagine that there are quite a few, especially with all the other companies that are following the same trend.
An Ubuntu user has submitted a message on Launchpad in which he is asking the developers for a flat theme.
“Ubuntu unity seems good but can be great if theme is changed to a modern, flat theme. Windows, android and even ios have shifted to that. a good theme like Numix will be a added bonus instead of Ambiance and Radiance,” said the user.
