DOFUS, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by the Ankama Games studio, has just landed in the Ubuntu Software Center.

It's been a while since the last major game has been released in the Ubuntu Software Center from Canonical, and DOFUS is quite a popular game, especially in France.

“Test your tactical skill by stepping into one of 15 unique classes. DOFUS offers an unusual turn-based, 2D fight system that puts you in control of a character you can build and customize while facing off against a universe of strange and colorful monsters,” reads the synopsis in Ubuntu Software Center.

There are very few MMO games available in the official repositories of the major distributions and it's good to see that Ubuntu is one of them.

DOFUS now features a total of 500,000 active subscribers and the payment is based on a 30-day model.
