Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-53, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for testing.

Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-53 is a new development version for this distribution, but there aren't any major changes.

The distribution is now based on one of the latest stable kernels, 3.10.11-1 and on the Debian Sid repository, up until September 16, 2013.

Other changes include the updates for the drbl and Clonezilla packages, 2.4.39-drbl1 and 3.5.37-drbl2, respectively. Check out the official announcement for more details about this release and about all the previous ones.

Download Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-53 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
