Cantata, a client for the music player daemon (MPD) that originally started as a fork of QtMPC, is now at version 1.2.2.
According to the developers, Cantata 1.2.2 can be compiled with KDE support or as a pure Qt4 application. Highlights of Cantata 1.2.2:
• The internal HTTP security has been improved; • The CDDA files are now removed when Cantata exits; • The error message shown if “playlist_directory” does not exist has been improved; • Truncated files are no longer served from the internal HTTP server; • When MPD seeks a Cantata HTTP stream, set the Content-Range header field; • Toggling checkboxes via the short-cut has been fixed; • A few broken spinboxes in some dialogs with Gtk style have been fixed; • The treeview is now correctly styled in the CD details dialog.
