It might not be all that important, but it's sure nice to have it

Ubuntu Touch comes with a lot of features out of the box, but users have been missing one in particular, the haptic feedback. This is about to change, soon.

It's hard to complain about Ubuntu Touch when it's accompanied by such great features, but I have to admit that I missed the haptic feedback that is already available in most major mobile operating systems on the market.

This small, but very fun feature will be making its way onto the Ubuntu Touch platform sooner rather than later, with the help of Canonical's Michael Frey.

“Just started writing our new Sensor Service for Ubuntu Touch. I am writing it in GO. My first attempt. The first service it will implement is haptic feedkback,” said Michael in a Google+ post.

It's impossible to tell when this feature will be made available, but we can only hope than it won't take long to be implemented.
