FrostWire, a BitTorrent client (formerly a Gnutella client) that’s the result of a collaborative effort of hundreds of open source and freelance developers, is now at version 5.7.0.

The Frostwire client can be used to send large files and folders. It features BitTorrent and Magnet Link support, it's Kindle-compatible, and the list can continue.

Highlights of FrostWire 5.7.0:

• The BitTorrent engine from the Azureus/Vuze project has been adopted; • New Torrents.fm meta search integration; • Brings back cloud downloads by entering url on search box or open dialog; • The Chat Tab has been removed, and the Chat button now points to http://frostwire.com/chat; • The startup time has been improved; • A large number of fixes and changes have been implemented.
