Clonezilla Live 2.2.2-11, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, has been released and is available for testing and download.

Clonezilla Live 2.2.2-11 is now the latest development version of this backup and recovery Linux distribution.

The distribution is now based on the Debian Sid repository, as of February 17, 2014, and uses drbl 2.7.26-drbl1 and Clonezilla 3.9.28-drbl1.

Also, an unattended option (-b) has been added to makeboot.sh, and the package libc6-i386 has been added in all AMD64 versions so that some 32-bit programs could be run.

A complete list of changes, improvements, and fixes can be found in the official announcement. Download Clonezilla Live 2.2.2-11 right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
