Other components of the distribution have been updated in this latest release

AsteriskNOW, a distribution built for application developers, systems integrators, students, hackers and others who want to create custom solutions with Asterisk, is now at version 3.0.

AsteriskNOW 3.0 provides users with access to the DAHDI driver framework, and, optionally, the FreePBX administrative GUI.

Highlight of AsteriskNOW 3.0:

• Asterisk has been updated to version 11 (from 8); • The distribution is now based on CentOS 6.4 (from CentOS 5.x); • FreePBX has been updated to version 2.11 Beta (from 2.10); • A re-written Digium-phones addon module, with many more options, has been added; • Numerous issues have been fixed, along with the call detail records problem in the 2.x version.
