Apache Tomcat 7.0.52, an open source software implementation of the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages technologies, developed under the Java Community Process, is now available for download.
After a short break, a new version of the popular Apache solution has been released with a few changes and improvements.
Highlights of Apache Tomcat 7.0.52 (violetagg):
• A valid root element is now generated for the effective web.xml, for a web application, and for all supported versions of web.xml; • SocketWrapper has been added to AbstractProcessor; • In some circumstances asynchronous requests could time out too soon. This issue has been fixed; • A per Context option (containerSciFilter) has been added in order to exclude the container SCIs.
A complete list of changes, fixes, and new features can be found in the official changelog, inside the source archive. Download Apache Tomcat 7.0.52 (violetagg) right now from Softpedia.
