Apache Tomcat, an open source software implementation of the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages technologies, developed under the Java Community Process, is now at version 7.0.40.

Highlights of Apache Tomcat 7.0.40:

• Tomcat's internal copy of Commons FileUpload has been upgraded to version 1.3; • Protection has been added against the AsyncListener implementations that throw RuntimeExceptions in response to an event; • The tools.jar entry has been restored in jarsToSkip property to prevent warnings when running Tomcat from Eclipse; • Support for CSV lists has been added with the ForEach tag plugin.
