The 2.2x branch of SeaMonkey has gone through a series of three Beta versions and the developers took their time adding numerous new features.
For example, users can now customize their email alerts, the Private Browsing function has received several improvements, the size of the newsgroup folders is now displayed properly, and the application has even received the Content Security Policy (CSP) 1.0 parser.
A number of fixes were also implemented for the Publish Webpage prompt, the POP3 local inbox folders, the MailNews search, the search bar, and much more.
