The Cat Lady, an adventure title developed by Harvester Games and published by Screen 7, will be released on Steam for Linux soon.

The Cat Lady was initially released back in December 2012 and has been available for some time on the Windows platform. Many developers have noticed the resurgence of Linux as gaming platform and they are now considering porting their games.

“The game follows Susan Ashworth, a lonely 40-year old on the verge of suicide. She has no family, no friends and no hope for a better future. One day she discovers that five strangers will come along and change everything...,” say the developers on their official Steam website.

This is not your ordinary adventure title. According to the guys at Harvester Games, it features strong adult themes and is recommended only for players over 18. This probably makes it the only adventure game rater R on Steam.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch.
