14 DAY TRIAL // AMD doesn't have a stellar record on the Linux platform, but it seems that besides the dodgy drivers, they care even less about the customers support.
A user has posted the response he received to a problem he raised with the AMD customer support, on Reddit. The response seems to be automated, which is ridiculous because he had Linux problems and AMD was advising him to visit Microsoft's website.
The problem is not the automated response, it’s the fact that customer messages aren’t viewed by actual people who can discern from a Windows and a Linux user.
In the case of this request, it would have been a lot better not to answer at all, then to advise a Linux user to download utilities and drivers for the Windows platform.
