What's new in Stager 4.1
Jul 8, 2010- The biggest addition to the frontend is 'Custom reports', which lets you easily create new report types on the fly.
- 'Custom reports' is a new and easy way to create reports that gives you information not provided by the standard reports already available in Stager. Custom reports in this release have some limitations, such as only being viewable by administrators and they are slower and less efficient than standard reports.
- Behind the scenes the bookmark system has been changed. This means that old bookmarks will *not* work with Stager 4.1, but new bookmarks take only a fraction of the space, should load much faster, and be more resilient to future updates.
- In addition to various bugfixes netflow_raw should be working again, and Stager now supports nfdump 1.6.
- This version of Stager supports Netflow using Nfdump and Qflow
New in Stager 4.0 (Sep 29, 2009)
- The most important new feature of this release is the support for viewing detailed reports directly from raw NetFlow.
- You can use the reports stored in the Stager database to quickly get an overview of your network, and if you see something suspicious, you can get more details from raw NetFlow.
- The template system is now XML-based, which makes it easier to customize Stager and to support other types of statistics.
- This release also contains several bugfixes and code improvements.
