- This release fixes a number of bugs in automatic detection of LaTeX, editing features and Linux support. If you are happy with Release 1.9, you may not need to update it.
New in RTextDoc 1.9 (Dec 23, 2013)
- This release includes a LaTeX draw tool to draw figures and generate PSTricks output.
New in RTextDoc 1.8 (Dec 12, 2013)
- This is a maintenance release with small bugfixes.
- ctags for Windows was added.
New in RTextDoc 1.7 (Dec 3, 2013)
- The main PDF viewer has been replaced with JPedal, since icePDF OS has issues rendering fonts.
- This release improves support for the AsciiDoc markup language.
New in RTextDoc 1.6 (Nov 23, 2013)
- Support for AsciiDoc markup language is added. ASciiDoc is powered by the AsciiDoctor engine.
- The following features for AsciiDoc are added: a document structure browser, and conversions to DocBook, HTML, and PDF.

- This maintenance release added a convenient LaTeX launch menu and an output panel.

- Autodetection of Latex environment.
- Autodetection of LaTeX errors during compilation.
- A new toolbar for quickly launching Latex commands.

- This version supports external dictionaries to look up a word definition, adds converters from LaTeX to HTML and back for basic LaTeX documents, and fixes several bugs.
