  • This patch release includes some minor features:
  • Autoconnect - Allow users to choose an account to autoconnect with, or use the -a (--account) command line option
  • Account password - Allow users to store passwords with accounts
  • Account MUC service and nickname - Allow users to specify defaults for MUC chat service and nickname
  • Plus the following fixes:
  • Cygwin Installs - Updated to work with the Cygwin split into 32bit and 64 bit versions and additional archive formats

New in Profanity 0.2.1 (Mar 20, 2013)

  • This version fixes Issue 158 (a crash when clients send "media" tags with capabilities) and Issue 94 (some mouse event combinations causing the UI to block; mouse wheel scrolling is now disabled by default).
