- Some bugs which didn't exist before have emerged with the new versions of OpenOffice and/or LibreOffice and MySQL, so the code has been adapted.
New in MyPatients 4.0.1 (Nov 23, 2010)
- Code made obsolete by OpenOffice.org 3.3 has been removed
New in MyPatients 4.0 (Oct 25, 2010)
- This release brings major changes in the way the program connects to MySQL Server.
- It uses an SDBC Native driver that makes the program a lot faster.
- Other changes are the use of a UTF-8 character set in the database and the inclusion of a drugs program in the MyPatients program (the SDBC Driver can read all the schemas of the database server with one connection).
- Minor bug fixes also took place.
- The 4.0 version is tested on Ubuntu Linux, Windows XP, and Windows 7.
New in MyPatients 2.3 (Dec 22, 2008)
- New patients categories were added (thus requiring a database schema upgrade).
- A new GNU/Linux shell script was added for program installation and/or database schema upgrading.
- Some minor documentation enhancements were made.
- Some lab tests were added.
New in MyPatients 2.2.3 (Sep 29, 2008)
- This version has a few bugfixes.
- The most important addition is compatibility with the upcoming version 3.0 of OpenOffice.org, something that version 2.2.2 lacked.
- This version is also backwards compatible with OOo 2.4.x versions.
