What's new in Glippy 0.6

Mar 19, 2013
  • Support for new Pastebin API (bug #1023662) and account.
  • URL shortener plugin (tinyurl.com and bit.ly services) (#894483).
  • Bug fixes (#989932).

New in Glippy 0.5 (Oct 21, 2011)

  • redesigned main menu - more separators, ugly indicators in square brackets with nice characters
  • support for rich, formatted text (HTML content from web browser, libreoffice etc.)
  • better images handling
  • gnome files support (you can copy file in Nautilus, select some text and restore file later)
  • actions executes every line separately
  • redesigned preferences, edit snippet/action windows etc.
  • screenshots support (experimental) - yeah, you can grab part of screen and store it in clipboard (for upload, for example)... or at least you shoud be able to do it (like I said experimental)
  • new icons
  • place for stuff which I've forgotten...
  • Most of changes are in code, so this part is for nerds/geeks/hipsters only:
  • redesigned all structure
  • plugins support, simple api with settings, hotkeys and clipboard managers
  • added experimental screenshot plugin, which needs some polish.

New in Glippy 0.1 (Nov 19, 2010)

  • Time to raise numbers. Glippy 0.1 is evolution, not revolution. Adds new features like instant pasting or reverse order of items, redesigned preferences window or using paste icon instead of default, but mainly consists of bugfixes.

New in Glippy 0.0.7.0 (Sep 6, 2010)

  • This is the big one (for me), Glippy 0.0.7.0 is out. At last I've found time to test new features, upload of clips (text to Pastebin, images to Imgur) and snippets. Also, from now, Glippy supports translations! I hope some of you will help me making it better by translating it to other languages than English and Polish. Anyway, hope you like it. But if problems, please report it and I will fix it as quick as it will be possible.

New in Glippy 0.0.6.0 (Jul 14, 2010)

  • Hotkeys support (default disabled).
  • Reworked application indicator, should be less leaky, but still can eat too much ram (really, don't use it with mouse clipboard!), that's why notification icon is still default one.
  • No icon mode (glippy -n).
  • Simpler arguments (glippy -h for help, -i for indicator, -n for no icon mode).
  • Fixed several bugs.
  • New Ubuntu Mono icons (yay!).
