- This version sets the standard configuration for client signing/schannel, server signing/schannel, and spnego to yes.
- It fixes a possible startup crash.
- There are indent fixes and patch cleanups.
- It combines the public and guest ok options.
- It removes the apply server settings button.

- Allow more then 30 chars for the samba version string.
- Added Valid users = %U as default for the [homes] share.
New in GAdmin-SAMBA 0.2.9 (Mar 13, 2010)
- Requires samba >= 3.4.0. Now using pdbedit and the tdbsam files instead of the smbpasswd file and binary. Edit smb.conf options as follows if upgrading:
- Remove: smb passwd file = /etc/samba/smbpasswd
- Add: passdb backend = tdbsam
New in GAdmin-SAMBA 0.2.8 (Nov 18, 2009)
- Added a share path selector. Added a home directory selector. Shows status color. Array comparizon fixes. Option "share modes" has been deprecated and will be removed automatically when a share is applied. Options "locking" and "strict locking" can be used instead.
