Black Beauty Changelog

What's new in Black Beauty 1.12

Jul 29, 2013
  • Nautilus.rc - tossed as conflicts with Nautilus.css and some lines in gtk-widgets.css which prevented red bar from appearing while "inactive"
  • Previous gtkrc I was using had some errors and was replaced with an older sheet coded properly. Chromium.rc is now coded to that sheet and quite properly! Is also the only rc file left in gtk-2.0.
  • Besides spacing numbers you will not find @000000; numbers anywhere! Numbers removed and replaced with proper and some unique terms to more accurately describe their position. A user can modify the entire theme from gtkrc, gtk-main.css and the two metacity xml sheets. This provides a simpler and quick change to those wishing to provide themselves with even more unique looks!
  • Previously I made a poor color selection on gedit! Red text on a red background quite an amatuer mistake. Now it is colored properly as when it is initiated appears amber with dark text. When window is inactive is red and of course after engaging the replace all button it goes green!
  • There are no more spaces where they do not belong! No more annoying white when selecting theme on Gnome Tweak or any of the other buttons. This was accomplished through the better gtkrc and removing widget-borders.css
  • Extra assets in gtk-3.0 provides the more experienced users to switch to those they prefer. Personally, I think the best are used, but I enjoy giving options!
  • I really hope everyone will enjoy this theme as has taken me over a week to get it to work so nicely! I beg and plead with all \"Spammers\" to please find somewhere else to sell! I am just trying to help others get the themes they enjoy. Even though I am practically penniless, I just want to provide something nice for others and do not ask a penny for it! Many hours have been spent to create this theme that would work as planned and not conflict with anything! Comments good or bad are welcome as I just want to hear what you want!
