cornyjokes was created to solve this particular need - having access to jokes directly from the Terminal. However, don't expect them to be the most sophisticated jokes out there. As its name clearly states, cornyjokes is only good at delivering corny and somewhat cringy jokes.

What's awesome about cornyjokes is that it's remarkably easy to use. You just install the application, pop open the Terminal, and type the following command: "cornyjokes." You're instantly provided with a random joke and a big ASCII-based "trolly" smiley/emoji-face-thingy.

Enter the command once more to get another joke, and continue to do so until either you've gotten your full of bad jokes or you're bored.

cornyjokes is a free and open-source software. This means that you can take the source code, modify it and make it suit your particular needs.
