Effortlessly organize your pictures and images with the help of this free and cross-platform app. #Photo Organizer #Image Organizer #Photo Tagger #Photo #Organizer #Image
Tiat is a powerful, cross-platform, and free image organizer. It works on the latest versions of Windows, macOS, and various Linux distributions (although not all of them due to their wide variety and lack of testing).
One of the highlights of the app is the GUI. While it's not impressive by any means, it's sleek and modern.
Tiat takes all your photos from all sources (folders, tags, albums) and merges them into a long grid. In short, you can browse all of them by simply scrolling up or down within the app.
Tiat provides you with various ways to organize files. However, with the help of various filters, you can create something called a "smart collection." This collection automatically updates every time you synchronize files.
Another great aspect of Tiat is that it goes to great lengths to help keep the storage as low as possible. While most traditional apps of this sort copy the pictures to their database, Tiat only stores compressed image information and a tiny cache image.
Tiat also proves itself very flexible when it comes to search methods. In addition to the basic names, labels, and comments, Tiat can also perform searches based on advanced picture data such as EXIF information and even color.
Tiat also supports almost all RAW file formats. Last but not least, Tiat displays all EXIF information in the sidebar. This makes searching for various pictures via EXIF tags a lot quicker than traditional methods. You can also add several annotations, tags, and stars to your pictures for even more accurate results.
One of the most interesting aspects of Tiat is the fact that it also works with cloud storage services (as well as external storage units).
For example, you can go about your business, and Tiat will automatically observe your cloud folders and update the content accordingly. Tiat works with Google Drive, One Drive, and Dropbox, as well as other cloud services.
Tiat provides a very efficient way of organizing photos and, most importantly, it does so in a way that doesn't intimidate beginner users. It's not the most feature-packed image organizer out there, and it's far from perfect (the GUI can feel a bit sluggish at times), but it gets the job done brilliantly.
