As the old yahoo protocol died a few days ago, this app most likely won't work anymore. Yahoo needs a go kick up the bum for changing their protocols without providing a replacement Linux App. Send them an email to let them know how you feel about this. Don't hold back, give it to them.

Not very impressive! needs to be full featured and pretty like there windows version! if they'd do that then hey maybe people would use it! and they make sweet add revenue! Yahoo stop blindsiding unix users when you yourself use FreeBSD to run your servers! you don't deserve to use it if this is how you repay us!

This is obsolete - 2005 software.
Yahoo don't support linux, it would appear, only Microsoft.
If you need messenger, then you really have to run XP in a virtualbox or something - it won't work under WINE yet.

Good luck - if you don't need webcam support, then Pidgin is fine.

This messenger is old and out of date. Yahoo should take care about linux user just like Skype or Gizmo. I think Yahoo is not what he used to be. Yahoo will died soon.
