WNL 4.0 is NOT ready for prime time. They rushed this one. WNL 3 is the cheddar IF you can still get it. They've basically gone to advanced/expert os, taken away the help forums, shut down the bug page so you don't know if you are repeating an issue, switched to unsecured google chrome/wave (weird 'cause these guys are security geniuses), airodump-ng crashes mid-town, battery monitor doesn't load, parted crashes, WSNetwork won't load, Hacking Portal won't load, ...etc. you get it. These guys really do put out a good product. There was no need to rush a new release. DL at your own risk and be prepared, if you can get online, to do LOT's of update/reinstall. I'd wait for 4.1

This distro has been great for me, especially for backing up files from Windows. Thanks to WeakNet I can avoid the splitting headache I get from Windows when it fails to copy files, because the file name length is too long. I\'m a beginning linux user and WeakNet Linux has made my experience much more easier.

These guys are now on v3 (WNLA Lite 3) and it's smoking hot. It works out of the box. Wifi, usb, YouTube, Hulu, and the TOOLS!!! It's a pentest nirvana. All jammed under 700mb, you can "live cd" it or dual boot with windows. There's also a really helpful forum and how-to vids that want to see you succeed. For a noob like me, they solved the nix problem in that they made sure you can get on the internet FIRST so you can ask questions later.

I've been keeping an eye on these guys for a while now.. The latest release (WNL3 Lite) is the best yet in my opinion since I can easily install it on my dinosaur lappytop since they fitted all those custom tools into a CD!!! Thanks again Trev..

I have been doing similar tests in a windows environment for some time. This is not my first expedition into Linux but I am still a bit of a n00b. This distro is simple to use and the built in tools make it a powerful, lightweight OS for all of the net testing you can imagine.

This Distro rocks its like a dream come true having all those great networking tools under one roof much appreciation from myself and will definitely point fellow staff and peers towards this great use of Linux

its one of the easiest and coolest distro's out today imo. Based off of ubuntu so its one of the most user friendly security distro's you'll find out there. Lots of tools coded by weaknetlabs that are not on any other distro's out there. Definitely worth downloading and trying out.
