Ubuntustudio 8.10 made my dream come true, i had bought two podcast packages from Behringer, usb and firewire and i had failed to the get the sound card going below is the link to the products

On 1st Nov 2008 i tried version 8.10 to my surprise the usb soundcard worked fine, despite the fact that my major interest was to use the firewire soundcard but getting the usb sound card working just got me working on my podcast project. using a pentium 4 2000mhz with 1gb memory i realised that it was fast. I have managed to install skype recording program and am ready for my project.
