    the most compatible for an acer aspire 5315 2153 since it shuts down with 10.04 it over heats for the fan doesnt start.

    I like This Version of Ubuntu 8.04. Not willing to migrate to 10.04 :-)

    ive been using this for over a year as openGEU with the LTS. just wondering if this is a modified version or a re-issue since it has resurfaced

    Using it and loving it. Mature and stable. And the community is awesome. Highly recommended.

    Very easy to install and use. And with a handful of tools yet installed and available through Applications > Add/Remove...

    Ideal for home, internet, office, and development purposes. Also a lot of games are available. And compatibility with windows applications is now relevant thanks to wine http://appdb.winehq.org/

    Also very secure and self-maintained. Not anti-virus nor manual updates are needed (for system nor for applications).
