    I have been using Ubuntu for several years. Given my preferences, I strongly prefer Gnome.
    I am offended that Ubuntu is forcing Unity on people that don't want it. I do not know a single Ubuntu user in my area that likes or prefers Unity. If Ubuntu forces Unity on people that don't want it, people will find other alternatives to Ubuntu. If people in Ubuntu want to use Unity, they should use it. If people in Ubuntu want to force all Ubuntu users to use Unity, those people will be looking for a job in the next year or so. I have never seen a restaurant able to stay in business for very long by forcing all the customers to eat only what the chef wants to cook.
