What a joke, Advertising Super OS 11,4 release on Softpedia What a run around trying to download Super OS. the development teams efforts to squeeze money out of a free open source operating system (Ubuntu). Directing downloaders the paying download websites, if you don't pay for the fast download the download is very slow, and drops the download around 440 megabytes this happened to me 3 times. Super OS is not one that I will be recommending to anyone that's for sure.

This OS will take a lot of the FEAR out of Linux for a newbie (as I was) and make an install just plain easier for the veteran user. Any "pitfalls" will probably be due to a few overall limitations of Linux in general. But these very "limitations" are still FAR better than the endless scanning and cleanup necessary with Windows. I thank those involved for letting me see the greatness of Linux which is now my primary OS.

We Need To Get Some Better Help For Running Windows .exe Files And Some Directx Clone...You Me And Everyone To Switch From Windows To Linux.

UPGRADED from latest versions of Ubuntu, PCLINUX-OS, MS-WIN7 & OpenSuse.

Unsure on difference: NTFS-3G & MS-NTFS-WIN7. Less disk thrashing, less memory, works on EEE-PC netbook to powerful notebooks (given up on dinosoar computers decades ago).

Impressive. It has the feel of windows xp. Easy to personalize. Everything 'just works'. Easy to find what you want. First Linux os I've tested that windows users could switch to and hardly know they've switched. As a newbie Linux user, I found it extremely user friendly.

Best of all it's FREE. And you can free yourself from bloated overpriced restricted Windoze.

What are you waiting for, you non-techies out there-

It's very good, but I have been unable to get persistence to work when it's installed on a USB stick (using its built-in USB Creator).
It won't save any settings or documents from session to session, losing every change when it reboots.

This is my personal favoured linux distro EVER, right out of the box has the features that some lack. The theme isnt that great but that takes all of 5 seconds to change ;)

Its perfect for those Linux noobies that wanna try something other than windows, and now im ALL linux its just sweet, and FREE so whats there to loose??
